Job Summary

TWPC HR Services is looking for a proactive and sales-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our client’s store in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, attracting high-value customers, and managing overall store performance. This role requires a strong closer who can combine sales excellence with effective team and store management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive aggressive sales growth and consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue high-value customers (walk-ins, corporate, and bulk buyers).
  • Develop strategies to increase foot traffic, conversions, and average transaction value.
  • Actively sell, upsell, and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with repeat and premium customers.

Commercial & Store Management

  • Oversee overall store performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure strong product visibility, merchandising, and brand presentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid lost sales.
  • Handle key customer interactions and resolve escalations professionally.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales staff to meet and exceed targets.
  • Set clear sales goals and track team performance.
  • Drive a high-performance, sales-focused culture within the store.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track daily and monthly sales performance against targets.
  • Provide insights on customer trends, fast-moving products, and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales and customer records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–6 years’ experience in retail sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in electronics, luxury retail, or high-value product sales is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Good understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
