Job Summary
TWPC HR Services is looking for a proactive and sales-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our client’s store in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, attracting high-value customers, and managing overall store performance. This role requires a strong closer who can combine sales excellence with effective team and store management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive aggressive sales growth and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue high-value customers (walk-ins, corporate, and bulk buyers).
- Develop strategies to increase foot traffic, conversions, and average transaction value.
- Actively sell, upsell, and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat and premium customers.
Commercial & Store Management
- Oversee overall store performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Ensure strong product visibility, merchandising, and brand presentation.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid lost sales.
- Handle key customer interactions and resolve escalations professionally.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate sales staff to meet and exceed targets.
- Set clear sales goals and track team performance.
- Drive a high-performance, sales-focused culture within the store.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track daily and monthly sales performance against targets.
- Provide insights on customer trends, fast-moving products, and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–6 years’ experience in retail sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in electronics, luxury retail, or high-value product sales is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
